Senny here! Thought I'd post an update of what we've been up to lately....
We both attended ConnectiCon recently, which was awesome as always. Silhouette went as Loki all three days, no surprises there, and was immensely well-recieved. I accompanied her as my debut Tony Stark on Friday, and then as Merlin on Saturday and Sunday. Even met a couple of other Merlin cosplayers, surprisingly. Silhouette entered Loki into the craftsmanship contest, and received a judge's choice award for her cosplay!
Silhouette has once again begun the Loki patterning process, this time for his prison vest from The Dark World. As for me, I've been tweaking and improving Merlin. I've also begun what will probably be a long-term project - Sabriel from Garth Nix's Old Kingdom series (which is a seriously awesome read, go do it). That will involve much scale maille and embroidering of keys, so yeah, gonna be awhile with that one. But I'm really enthused about it.
Also in the works - well, planning stage at this point - is an Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplay group, Fire Nation style. Silhouette will be Zuko, with yours truly as Aang, and other friends as Sokka, Toph, and Suki. Should be amusing.

Handcuffed behind the back close-up
If you love handcuffs behind the back, in arresting positions, and really good CLOSE-UPS, enjoy my shares. Handcuffs, ropes, even NO bondage; I only focus on women's hands shown behind "PALMS OPEN,"
and showing more femininity. None of this tied "PALMS TOGETHER. Prayer position" nonsense. where is the fun in that? 🤷

Cosplay Pages!
Just wanted to let everyone know that Sennedjem and I both have cosplay pages on Facebook!
Sennedjem: Myrddin Emrys Costuming
Silhouette: Silhouette Costuming and Cosplay
So, if any of you are inclined, do take a peek, and likes are always appreciated! In other news, we're headed to Rhode Island Comic Con come the start of November. Senny is currently working on a lovely robed Tolkien-style Elf costume, and I have been doing bits and pieces of both Dark World and Prison Loki.
Oh, and we're both hooked (pun intended) on Once Upon A Time now. Future cosplays: Rumplestiltskin by Silhouette, and Captain Hook (told you pun intended!) by Senny!
Anime Boston 2014
Hey all! So! This past weekend was Anime Boston, which is the most local con for myself and Senny, so naturally we were there for the fun and shenanigans!
Despite last-minute cosplay prep (when does that not happen, though, honestly?), we had a blast. Friday was Sherlock Holmes and Mary Morstan, Saturday featured Loki and Merlin (the con's theme was 'Magic and Mischief'--how perfect!), and Sunday was to be Loki and Stark, though Senny wasn't feeling up to going that day so it was just myself as Loki, and my good friend as Lady Thor.
Both Loki and Merlin were debuted at AB, and the response was incredible (I wore Loki to Arisia in January, a
Catch-Up Time
Well! It's been quite a while since our last journal update, so I figured, hey, why not do something about that?
As you can see by our recent photos, Senny and I have been on quite a cosplay spree lately, and we've had some great opportunities for photoshoots and such pop up over the past few months. Notably, our Doctor Who beach shoot complete with TARDIS, of which more photos will be coming as our wonderful photographer finishes editing the many, many photos she took. We really had a fantastic time that day, and we were shooting for a good four hours at least. And then, of course, there was the premiere of Thor: The Dark World...
Oh, righ
All the Things
Update time again!
So, we recently (this past weekend, actually) spent a fantastic time at Anime Boston! Meant to go in various Sherlock cosplays for the duration, but Senny unexpectedly found a very good makeshift Tenth Doctor suit, and already having procured the wig, tie, and shoes, we did some last-minute changes and went as Ten and Rose on Friday, Sherlock and Moriarty on Saturday, and Sherlock and John on Sunday. It was ever so much fun. We did conclude that a con more like the size of ConnectiCon is more suited to our tastes, but it was great to get an idea of what one of the bigger cons is like.
Still working on perfecting some litt

OMG! I've always loved the idea of doing a Sabriel costume... But the idea of handcrafting her bell holster has terrified me every time. PLEASE DO IT I would love to see it!!!
